Peanut Butter Sticky Rice

Along Chareonrat Road, about four hundred meters from our building, is a stretch of Chinese merchant houses that have been converted to restaurants, coffee-houses, high-end shops and boutique hotels. One of them, a particularly beautiful colonial-style building, has been turned into a vaguely Indochinese tea house. Camilla and I have been waiting for an opportunity to have a mother-daughter tea party there, and of course Baby came along, too.

As at all good tea-parties, the sugar bowl is the main attraction.
